Our Feature Highlight will be useful to those working in Calibry Nest software. We regularly improve our products and work on the new features. When post-processing the scans in Calibry Nest, you may not have realised that there are many tools to make your work easier and faster. One of them is View Group. It is a set of tools that change the current view of a 3D-scan: show a polygonal surface of a model, show a polygonal surface with a grid and conceal selected areas of a scan — Hide selected tool.

| Hide selected— is a tool that helps to hide parts of the model, making it easier to edit hard-to-reach areas.

You are probably familiar with a situation when you have assembled a 3D scan and need to edit the model? For example, to remove unnecessary data in hard-to-reach places?

Sometimes it can be quite difficult, so that's why we have developed Hide selected tool. Let’s find out how it can be used…
|

How it works?
|
- In this example, external parts of the model can be selected and hidden to get access to the rough edge deep inside. Use any selection tool to select a region to be hidden.

- After selection is completed, just click Hide Selected button on the Main Toolbar
|
 |
All selected areas will become transparent, allowing unobstructed use of editing tools.
|
 |
- Remove rough edges and unneseccary data.
|
 |
- Now that you have a clear cut, you can make hidden areas visible again by clicking Show Hidden.
